Does anyone know if the Obama budget freeze will affect the FDA?

I took Avandia for about 6 or 8 months, I didn't have a heart attack but it did give me hypertension. I had a perfectly healthy heart before and after a few months of starting the drug I had high blood pressure. It is improving slowly since stopping Avandia and nearly back to normal, but I dunno if it will ever get there completely. I can't prove it and the pharmacon pays more for lawyers than I make in a lifetime.

They ought to be, but I seriously doubt that will ever happen.

I read the news about Avandia with alarm. I take Avandamet, another GSK prescription drug for type 2 diabetes control which contains Rosiglitazone plus Metformin. Since Avandia is pure Rosiglitazone, does Avandamet have the same cardiac risk potential as Avandia?
I don't know... it does seem both drugs are in your system. (I am not a doctor... I just like to pretend :) )
I came across this article that may hold interest for diabetics
